2 Months Old Already!

I can't believe our little boy is already 2 months old.
Gavin is growing so fast, weighing 12.6lbs and is now 23.25in. long.
He is smiling more and more everyday.
He is getting stronger and stronger as each day passes.
He isn't sleeping through the night yet but at least he only wakes once, maybe twice a night.
Gavin is starting to enjoy playing more with his toys, in fact with help he held his rattle for the first time yesterday.
He loves working in the yard with his daddy while in the baby carrier.
I couldn't figure out how he was getting dirt under his fingernails, but it turns out that daddy has been teaching him to play in the dirt.
We are eager to see what the next month brings and what milestones he will reach.
We love him more and more each day, if that is even possible.

Easter Sunday Baptism

On Easter Sunday Ian's family came together to celebrate the baptism of Gavin Edward Johnson at the Christ United Methodist church of Great Falls Montana.
It was a beautiful service performed by the wonderful Pastor Kama, who made us feel welcomed and loved as she blessed our son.
Gavin was so handsome in his little sweater vest outfit, looking so grown up. He was a perfect angel without crying or fussing once.
After the service the family went back to Ian's parents house for a delicious Easter brunch with Annette's amazing carmel cinnamon rolls.
After our bellies were filled the Easter egg hunt commenced.
All the kids loaded up on candy, eggs and toys. It was wonderful to spend the Easter holiday with family. As the family grows and grows we look forward to many more good times.
